I.E. Vision: Trends and Challenges

Business and government leaders gathered at CMC on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 to discuss the trends and challenges facing the Inland Empire. SLIDO results and Keil's forecast slides now available.


Claremont McKenna College hosted the Inland Empire Vision conference on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.  This half-day conference featured CMC economists who presented the Inland Empire Forecast and the Los Angeles Economic Index.  Greg Devereaux, recently retired CEO of San Bernardino County, gave the keynote speech on local economic development policy.  The program also featured a discussion of the $15 minimum wage led by prominent business leaders.  Attendees participated in a collaborative exercise to identify key challenges facing the Inland Empire.
